About the role
The Guest Service Expert creates memorable dining experiences by delivering attentive service, coordinating with the kitchen, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role blends hospitality, food handling, and physical activity to ensure every guest feels valued throughout their meal.
Key responsibilities
- Set and arrange tables, ensuring proper placement of linens, utensils, and glassware.
- Communicate guest orders and special requests accurately to the kitchen staff.
- Interact with guests, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, replenish supplies, and adhere to hygiene standards.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving items up to 25 lb unassisted (50 lb with assistance) while navigating varied surfaces.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification needed.
