F&B Service Expert – Luxury Desert Resort

About the role

The F&B Service Expert will deliver memorable food and beverage experiences for guests at Al Maha, a Luxury Collection Desert Resort & Spa. You will ensure service excellence from table setting to guest interaction, supporting both restaurant and in‑room dining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, anticipate their needs, and ensure timely, courteous service throughout their stay.
• Set tables, deliver food and beverage orders, and maintain cleanliness of dining and work areas following clean‑as‑you‑go standards.
• Communicate special dietary requests, allergies, and beverage preferences to the kitchen and bar teams.
• Handle cash and electronic payments using the MICROS POS system, perform end‑of‑shift cash counts, and follow audit procedures.
• Operate the beverage/coffee cart, ensure proper presentation of china, glassware, and silverware, and adhere to local alcohol service guidelines.
• Complete closing duties, including equipment cleaning, restocking, and securing the workstations.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• Higher education diploma or equivalent.
• Strong interpersonal, customer‑service, and teamwork skills.
• Professional appearance, dependability, and safety orientation.
• Ability to multitask and retain information accurately.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
• Cash handling and transaction recording.
