F&B Support Expert (Hostess) – Garage Services

About the role

Our Guest Service Support Experts create memorable experiences by ensuring food and beverage operations run smoothly, from setting tables to assisting the kitchen and maintaining clean work areas. The role requires a safe workplace mindset, adherence to company policies and quality standards, and the ability to be on your feet for extended periods. You will support the Garage Services area of W Hotels in Abu Dhabi, helping guests enjoy seamless service.

Key responsibilities

• Set tables and replenish supplies to keep service areas ready for guests.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic tasks and ensure smooth workflow.
• Clean and maintain work areas, including garage service zones, on sloping or uneven surfaces.
• Read and visually verify menu information to manage guest orders accurately.
• Move, lift and carry objects up to 25 lb (or 50 lb with assistance) and handle items overhead or below the knees.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior experience required; previous food and beverage experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit and move on sloping, uneven or slippery surfaces for extended periods.
• Physical capability to lift 25 lb unassisted and 50 lb with assistance, and to reach overhead and below the knees.
• No supervisory experience, license or certification required.
