Field Engineering Manager (LOF)

About the role

TechnipFMC is looking for a Life of Field (LOF) Engineering Manager to lead the LOF engineering team in Abu Dhabi. You will ensure compliance with company engineering standards, drive technical excellence, and support offshore D&C, instrumentation, and MMR activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a multi‑discipline LOF engineering team, adjusting resources to meet project and operational needs.
• Validate scope, staffing and skill levels for projects, ensuring technical integrity and compliance with design standards.
• Develop and maintain discipline reference documentation, share best practices, and provide technical guidance.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs, set goals, and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Mechanical Engineering degree (Master’s preferred) or equivalent oil & gas qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, preferably with surface D&C equipment.
• At least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong command of English.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of surface wellhead and tree equipment or related subsea equipment.
• Familiarity with industry design codes and standards such as API, ASME, DNV and NORSOK.
• Understanding of well architecture, construction and drilling operations.
• Advanced project management capabilities.
