Senior Completion & Well Intervention Engineer

About the role

The Senior Completion & Well Intervention Engineer is responsible for engineering and operational support of completion and workover activities across one or more rigs or rig‑less operations. The role includes preparing detailed programs, supervising field‑engineer trainees, and acting as a technical advisor on‑site when required.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute Completion and Workover Programs, procedures, and AFE estimates.
• Review Completion Basis of Design, hardware compatibility, and regulatory safety requirements.
• Mentor and supervise Field Engineer Trainees and junior engineers during critical wellsite operations.
• Coordinate with Subsurface, Production, drilling contractors and service providers to ensure plan alignment.
• Monitor daily progress, cost performance versus AFE, and record operational NPT trends.
• Participate in HARC preparation, cost control analysis, and continuous improvement actions.

Required profile

• Senior professional with extensive experience in completions and/or workovers in the oil and gas sector.
• Proven ability to lead technical discussions, mentor junior staff, and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards, IPM barrier requirements, and well integrity considerations.
