Finance and Revenue Cycle Management Specialist

About the role

The Finance and Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist will oversee financial and revenue‑cycle activities for KAUST Health. Working closely with finance leaders, healthcare operators and insurers, the role ensures accurate invoicing, claim processing and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Review and validate healthcare invoices, quotations and financial transactions for accuracy and compliance.
• Manage end‑to‑end RCM processes, including insurance claim validation, submission, and reconciliation.
• Monitor claim rejections, denials and collections, implementing corrective actions to reduce losses.
• Lead payment and account reconciliations with healthcare operators and insurers.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts and expenditure controls.
• Produce monthly financial, variance, revenue and RCM performance reports for management.
• Track key financial and RCM KPIs, identifying risks and revenue‑optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with finance, health leadership and insurers to resolve financial and claims issues.
• Support audits, compliance checks and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field (preferred).
• Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are an advantage.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven experience in healthcare finance, revenue cycle management, medical billing and insurance claims.
