Finance Assistant Manager (CAPEX)

About the role

As an Assistant Manager Finance (CAPEX) you will support the General Ledger function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, month‑end closing, reconciliations and compliance with IFRS standards. You will work closely with Finance Business Partners and other stakeholders to provide insightful analysis and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations, resolve discrepancies and assist with ticket sales, intercompany and related‑party reconciliations.
• Maintain prepaid expense schedules, lease accounting records and CAPEX tracking, monitoring open purchase orders and requisitions.
• Prepare accounting entries, day‑to‑day reconciliations and conduct detailed analysis of GL accounts.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.
• Perform variance analysis on P&L and GL accounts and assist in preparing management reports, forecasts and ad‑hoc analyses.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and enhanced financial controls.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum three years of finance or accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS accounting standards.
• Excellent analytical, reconciliation and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
