Finance Associate Internship

About the role

The Finance Associate Internship supports financial accounting and distributor finance activities across Gulf markets. You will work closely with internal finance teams, distributors and stakeholders to ensure accurate month‑end close, financial reporting and compliance with GSK accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with month‑end close activities, including preparation of accrual journals and financial reports.
• Maintain financial records and entity accounts in line with GSK policies.
• Support distributor accounting processes, including debit note validation and supplier payments.
• Coordinate purchase‑to‑pay activities such as vendor creation, three‑way matching and purchase order management.
• Review employee expense claims and ensure compliance with local and global policies.
• Prepare and reconcile distributor account statements and monitor payment collections.
• Help resolve financial queries and disputed items with distributors.

Required profile

• Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Basic knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems.
• Financial modeling capability.
