About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented General Accountant to join our dynamic team in Umm Al Quwain, UAE. The role is pivotal in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and supporting clients with insightful analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software, complying with local regulations and company policies.
• Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure accurate reporting.
• Support the annual audit process by preparing documentation and liaising with auditors.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to maintain healthy cash flow.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency.
