Finance Director & General Operations Manager

About the role

The Finance Director & General Operations Manager will lead both financial and operational functions for a business operating in Dubai and Syria. Reporting to senior leadership, the role combines strategic financial oversight with day‑to‑day operational management, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and accurate reporting across both locations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial statements and periodic reports.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and external financial regulations.
• Oversee all operational activities, coordinating between Dubai and Syrian offices.
• Maintain comprehensive financial records and support audit processes.
• Prepare and deliver regular financial and operational performance reports to senior management.
• Travel frequently to Syria to supervise business operations and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles.
• Proven ability to manage administrative and operational functions.
• Strong communication and analytical capabilities.
