Finance Manager (FP&A)

About the role

The Finance Manager (FP&A) will own management reporting, financial planning, and day‑to‑day accounting for a fast‑growing UAE‑based food commodity trading and processing business with international supply chains. Reporting to the Controller, the role leads a small bookkeeping team, produces monthly MIS packs, and maintains a consolidated cash‑flow forecast for lenders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise bookkeeping team: transaction recording, AP/AR, inventory accounting, intercompany entries.
• Drive month‑end close process, ensuring audit‑ready books across trading, processing and in‑transit inventory.
• Produce monthly MIS pack including P&L, balance sheet, working‑capital bridge, margin analysis and KPI dashboard.
• Develop landed‑cost and gross‑margin models for multi‑origin sourcing and third‑party processing.
• Own consolidated bank reporting pack for lenders, integrating facility data from Treasury.
• Build and maintain a rolling 13‑week cash‑flow forecast, reconciling weekly to actuals.
• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly re‑forecasts, modelling supply, pricing and FX scenarios.
• Support capex evaluation and financing analysis for expansion projects.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of finance experience, including managing a small accounting team through month‑end close.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, audit processes and financial reporting.
• Experience in commodity‑focused businesses or international supply‑chain environments is a plus.
