Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead finance, reporting, planning and governance activities across the business. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, strong controls and compliance while partnering with business units to drive profitability and support strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, feasibility studies, lease renewals and financial analysis.
• Partner with brand, corporate and business teams to monitor performance, identify opportunities and drive corrective actions.
• Manage legal agreements and commercial proposals, coordinating reviews and approvals with legal and stakeholders.
• Oversee monthly financial closing and reporting, ensuring accuracy, completeness and compliance with accounting standards.
• Review key KPIs such as sales, markdowns, productivity and overheads, providing insights to management.
• Ensure compliance with Corporate Tax, VAT, FAR, COC, CFO Scorecard and other statutory requirements.
• Support implementation and maintenance of robust financial controls, policies and risk management practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of finance experience, preferably in UAE retail or FMCG.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (2021/2022) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in FP&A, business partnering, budgeting, forecasting and financial closing.
• Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations is a plus.
• Experience evaluating business cases, store feasibility studies and lease proposals.
