Finance Manager

About the role

We are recruiting a Finance/Accounting Manager for an international education company that operates schools in Abu Dhabi. Reporting to the Bursar with a dotted‑line to the finance department, the role leads a small finance team and is responsible for the overall financial management of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly profit & loss reports within two weeks of month‑end.
• Develop monthly and annual forecasts and manage cash flow.
• Oversee day‑to‑day banking and cash management activities.
• Produce and present financial performance reports and key performance indicators.
• Supervise invoicing, cash collection and payroll processes.
• Analyse results, forecasts and budgets to support decision‑making.
• Maintain and improve financial systems and internal controls.
• Lead and develop a finance team of two professionals.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification with at least three years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting roles within the education sector or comparable SME to large commercial environments.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Strong technical finance and management accounting knowledge.
• Self‑starter with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
