Finance Manager – Regional Finance Leader

About the role

Lead the finance function for a multinational engineering and construction group across 17 business units in nine Middle Eastern countries. You will support three distinct business lines, drive digital finance transformation, and manage a multicultural finance team to deliver strategic financial insight.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial activities across 17 business units in nine countries.
• Support three business lines with diverse operational and commercial requirements.
• Manage complex project accounting and cash‑flow considerations within the construction sector.
• Coordinate taxation, banking, compliance, audit and reporting across multiple jurisdictions.
• Lead and develop a geographically dispersed finance team of 10‑12 professionals.
• Oversee contract management, payment terms, guarantees, joint ventures and collections.
• Deliver financial analysis and performance insights to support management decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement through digitalisation, reporting automation and finance process enhancements.
• Support business transformation initiatives and adoption of ERP, Salesforce, Power Query and Power BI.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 15 years of finance and accounting management experience, including at least 5 years of international taxation, external audit, transfer pricing, treasury and compliance.
• Proven experience managing multi‑entity, multi‑currency, multi‑country reporting within an international group.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, audit processes and group reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, Power Query and Power BI.
• Experience in digital finance transformation and reporting automation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop multicultural finance teams across multiple countries.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Experience in the construction or engineering sector is a strong advantage.
