VP Corporate Finance

About the role

The organization seeks a Vice President of Corporate Finance to provide strategic leadership across capital structure, funding strategy, project finance, financial modelling and capital allocation. The role will work closely with senior leadership, Treasury, M&A, FP&A, Finance Control, subsidiaries, banks and external advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development and optimisation of the Group’s capital structure and funding strategy, balancing leverage, liquidity and cost of capital.
• Evaluate and support debt facilities, refinancing, funding structures and financing terms in partnership with banks and advisors.
• Oversee financial analysis and modelling for major projects, strategic investments, M&A and capital allocation decisions.
• Provide Board‑level recommendations on funding options, capital allocation and investment decisions.
• Identify and monitor financial risks such as interest‑rate, currency, liquidity and refinancing risk.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance, project finance, treasury or funding.
• Strong experience with debt financing, refinancing, covenant analysis and banking relationships.
• Experience in infrastructure, energy, utilities, waste management or other capital‑intensive sectors.
• Professional qualification (CA, CPA, CFA, CIMA, ACT, CTP) preferred.
