Finance Operations Controller

About the role

The Finance Operations Controller joins the Richemont Finance team in Dubai and partners closely with the Maisons to support strong financial controls and operational excellence across their retail operations. Acting as a trusted business partner, the role works with Maison and boutique teams to strengthen compliance, improve processes and build understanding of retail finance operations, with exposure to projects such as boutique openings, e-commerce, SAP implementation and new Maison integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a key Finance Operations partner to Maisons, giving guidance on compliance, controls and day-to-day boutique operations
• Support boutique teams with regular training and knowledge sharing on processes and procedures
• Perform internal control reviews, compliance assessments and boutique audits, and follow up on identified actions
• Support inventory controls, stock takes, consignment reviews and other key retail finance processes
• Prepare sales analysis, retail KPIs and ad-hoc business reporting for Maisons
• Support new boutique openings and closures, ensuring the right processes, tools and controls are in place
• Contribute to continuous improvement of retail processes, procedures, controls and systems
• Coordinate and support Finance-related projects including e-commerce, SAP implementation, new Maison integration and internal/external audits

Required profile

• Relevant experience within Finance Operations
• Experience within retail, luxury or a multi-brand environment is advantageous
• Comfortable supporting cross-functional projects and operational change

• Analytical mindset, able to interpret business performance and prepare meaningful reports
