Finance & Strategy Associate – UAE National

About the role

Join Deliveroo’s Finance & Strategy team in Dubai as a Finance & Strategy Associate. You will support data and reporting, manage weekly performance reviews and conduct variance analysis to help drive business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update performance datasets used by the Finance & Strategy team.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency across reports and analyses.
• Contribute to improving reporting processes and templates.
• Populate the weekly business review template with the latest performance data.
• Analyze key metrics, highlight trends or anomalies, and draft clear, fact‑based commentary.
• Track actual performance against targets or prior periods.
• Investigate and explain key variances using data and business context.
• Summarise findings for the wider Finance & Strategy and UAE Leadership team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Strong numerical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends and explain variances.
• Structured, data‑driven approach to problem solving.
• Clear and concise written communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop within a Finance & Strategy environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Team‑oriented with a proactive and professional attitude.
• Internship or academic project experience in finance, business or data analysis (preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel.
• Experience with formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUMIF, COUNTIF.
• Ability to create and use pivot tables.
