Finance Tower Lead – R2R, P2P or O2C

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finance Tower Lead to head one of the core finance process towers – Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) or Order‑to‑Cash (O2C) – for a leading FMCG client in Dubai. The role will ensure accurate, timely and efficient delivery of the assigned finance process while driving strong controls and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end operations of the assigned finance tower (R2R, P2P or O2C).
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of all transactions within the tower.
• Monitor service delivery against KPIs, SLAs, quality standards and productivity targets.
• Plan workload, allocate resources and coach the finance team.
• Drive process standardisation, simplification and continuous improvement.
• Maintain compliance with finance policies, SOPs, internal controls and governance.
• Identify gaps, risks and recurring issues; conduct root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with internal finance and business stakeholders to resolve process and accounting issues.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end activities for the assigned tower.
• Prepare documentation, reconciliations, controls and approvals in line with company requirements.
• Assist internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
• Identify and champion automation and digitisation opportunities.
• Produce regular operational reports and performance updates for stakeholders.
• Support process transitions, system changes and transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in finance operations or related process towers.
• Proven ability to lead a finance team and manage end‑to‑end process delivery.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on risk mitigation and continuous improvement.
