Financial Analyst – Project Valuation & Financing

About the role
The Financial Analyst will support the AIFA‑AMEA team by leading valuation and risk analysis of new projects, preparing financial models, and assisting in the structuring and execution of financing plans. Reporting to the Senior Financial Advisor or Head of AIFA, the role also involves supervising junior analysts and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Lead valuation and risk analysis of development projects, preparing detailed financial models.
- Assist in, or lead when delegated, the preparation of financing plans and selection of funding sources.
- Monitor liquidity trends, debt‑market developments, and competitor financing approaches across the region.
- Ensure compliance with investment guidelines, methodology, and internal procedures.
- Supervise, train, and coach junior team members on project‑related and non‑project activities.
- Contribute to the improvement of financial modelling methods and analytical tools.
Required profile
- Strong analytical mindset with experience in project finance and valuation.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with senior advisors and business development colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting financial analyses and recommendations.
- Proactive attitude toward process improvement and knowledge sharing.
