Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the accounting and financial reporting functions for a leading international organization in the mining and natural resources sector. This position ensures accurate, compliant financial records while supporting strategic growth and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing processes and preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Support budgeting, cash‑flow monitoring, and financial analysis activities.
• Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to IFRS and other reporting standards.
• Drive process improvements and uphold strong financial governance.

Required profile

• Open to UAE‑based candidates of any nationality willing to relocate to Congo.
• Experience in mining, sponge iron, power generation, or manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, cash‑flow management, and financial analysis.
• In‑depth knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
