Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Financial Controller to own day‑to‑day finance operations, cash‑flow management, management reporting, financial controls and statutory coordination. This is an individual contributor role, not a large‑team corporate management position.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily visibility of all bank and cash balances and produce a rolling 13‑week cash‑flow forecast.
• Own the monthly and annual financial close, reviewing GL entries, accruals, depreciation, provisions and reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow reports, weekly finance dashboards and annual budgets.
• Monitor working capital – accounts receivable, ageing, collections, accounts payable and supplier commitments.
• Coordinate VAT and corporate tax compliance with external advisers and ensure adherence to IFRS and UAE regulations.
• Support commercial, supply‑chain and HR teams with reliable forecast inputs and financial impact analysis of contracts.
• Drive process improvement in Odoo usage, reporting automation and finance template standardisation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with full‑cycle accounting, cash‑flow forecasting and management reporting.
• Familiarity with IFRS, UAE regulatory requirements and corporate tax/VAT compliance.
