Financial Controller

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on Financial Controller to own day‑to‑day finance operations, cash‑flow management, management reporting, financial controls and statutory coordination. The role is focused on practical execution rather than large‑team corporate management.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily visibility of bank and cash balances and produce a rolling 13‑week cash‑flow forecast.
• Coordinate payment runs, ensure compliance with approval controls and reconcile cash‑flow reporting to bank statements.
• Own the monthly and annual financial close, review general‑ledger entries, accruals, depreciation and provisions, and ensure timely reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly P&L, balance‑sheet and cash‑flow reports, weekly finance dashboards and annual budgets, rolling forecasts and scenario analyses.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, support commercial and supply‑chain teams with reliable forecast inputs, and analyse the financial impact of major contracts.
• Coordinate VAT and corporate tax requirements, maintain compliance calendars and ensure adherence to IFRS, company policies and UAE regulations.
• Improve Odoo usage, standardise finance templates, automate reporting and maintain clear finance procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Comfortable working directly with financial data, reviewing entries, maintaining forecasts and producing accurate management reports.
• Experience with cash‑flow management, financial closing and compliance in an IFRS environment.
• Ability to identify liquidity risks, explain material variances and recommend corrective actions.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Odoo ERP.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE regulatory requirements.
• Experience handling VAT and corporate tax coordination.
• Financial modelling and analysis capabilities.
