Financial Controller

About the role

We are a fast‑growing food & beverage group operating multiple brands across the UAE. Reporting to the CFO, you will own the finance function, ensure accurate books, tight controls and support expansion into new markets.

Key responsibilities

• Run month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close and prepare IFRS accounts for each entity and the group.
• Handle consolidation, inter‑company and multi‑currency reporting, and produce outlet P&L statements.
• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting and build business cases for new outlets and markets.
• Set up finance for new countries – entities, bank accounts, tax registrations and franchise accounting.
• Maintain full compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, Transfer Pricing and e‑invoicing rules.
• Control cash, POS, stock and delivery app settlements, manage cash flow, banks and working capital.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll, gratuity and staffing budgets.
• Improve ERP, POS and Power BI systems to reduce manual work and coach a growing finance team.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with ACCA, CPA, CA or CMA qualification.
• 10+ years of finance experience, including 4–5 years as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager.
• At least 5 years in restaurants, hospitality or retail with multiple outlets, preferably in the GCC.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (including IFRS 16), UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
• Experience consolidating several companies and currencies.
