Assistant General Manager – Business Operations & Growth

About the role

The Assistant General Manager – Business Operations & Growth will lead Dubai operations, driving revenue, profitability and operational excellence. Reporting to the Founder & CEO, the role combines strategic planning with day‑to‑day management of multiple service lines.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to achieve revenue growth, profitability targets and new recurring revenue opportunities.
• Lead day‑to‑day operations across Accounting, Bookkeeping, VAT, Corporate Tax, Financial Reporting, Business Setup and Compliance.
• Oversee client onboarding, service delivery, renewals and escalation handling to ensure high client satisfaction and retention.
• Coordinate closely with the Sri Lankan back‑office to align workflow, productivity and quality standards.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, cash‑flow forecasts and identify cost‑optimization opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; MBA, CA, ACCA or CPA is a strong advantage.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience, including 4–5 years in a senior management role within UAE professional services.
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth, profitability and operational improvements.
• Experience managing multi‑department teams and offshore/back‑office service delivery.

Required skills

• Proficiency with cloud accounting platforms such as Xero, Zoho Books and QuickBooks.
• Experience using ERP solutions, workflow management systems and automation tools.
• Strong commercial awareness, analytical and financial problem‑solving abilities.
