Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant specialized in Financial Planning and Analysis to join ADNOC Drilling in Abu Dhabi. The role involves handling accounting duties, preparing periodic financial statements, and supporting cash‑flow planning in line with company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accounting records and financial statements according to company policies and timelines.
• Maintain ledgers, statements and ensure accurate allocation of accounting codes and cost centres.
• Perform initial checks, balances and verification of data before processing transactions.
• Reconcile accounts periodically to guarantee accurate recording of all transactions.
• Process supplier invoice payments after verification against contracts and obtain supervisor approval.
• Prepare cash‑flow projections to support liquidity planning.
• Interact with external consultants, service providers and government agencies as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis.
• Professional certifications where applicable.
