Fitness Instructor – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Fitness Instructor will join the Recreation Centre at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, delivering high‑quality personal training, group classes and wellness events for guests and members in a luxury hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the Recreation Centre in line with Anantara’s objectives and performance targets.
• Conduct personal training sessions and lead daily fitness and sports group classes such as HIIT, stretching, boot‑camp and boxing.
• Organise monthly fitness and wellness events, including special themed activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by sanitising equipment and ensuring all machines are in good working order.
• Provide personalised exercise plans, correct technique guidance and enforce safety rules.
• Monitor programme success through participation numbers and guest feedback, reporting insights to management.
• Collaborate with other departments, handle fee collection for paid activities and support additional recreation areas as needed.
• Drive departmental revenue by promoting paid services and delivering exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• Recognised fitness instructor certification.
• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, strength training, cardiovascular fitness and injury prevention.
• Ability to design safe, effective programmes for individuals and groups.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational abilities.
• Physically fit and capable of demonstrating exercises correctly.
• Professional appearance and solid customer‑service skills.
• Basic computer proficiency for client records and scheduling.
• Fluent in English; Arabic or additional languages are a plus.
