Flight Analyst – Revenue Management

About the role

The Flight Analyst will support Etihad Airways’ Revenue Management function by turning data into actionable inventory decisions that keep the network profitable and aircraft full. You will work closely with commercial, operations and market teams to forecast demand, manage over‑booking and optimise inventory across the airline’s global routes.

Key responsibilities

• Forecast no‑show and cancellation trends for assigned routes and adjust over‑booking limits.
• Use PROS and other data sources to identify inventory trends and recommend actions.
• Manage inventory during peak periods, applying market insights and seasonal demand patterns.
• Monitor forward‑booking trends, analyse route performance and highlight deviations from forecasts.
• Collaborate with Revenue Management, Market and Group teams to correct forecast imbalances.
• Work with Network Operations and Airport Managers to anticipate denied‑boarding situations and develop balanced solutions.
• Design and implement inventory strategies for redemption and non‑revenue travel, evaluating revenue dilution risks.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Commercial acumen with a passion for aviation and revenue optimisation.
• Experience in revenue management, pricing, forecasting or aviation analytics.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to interpret large data sets and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
