Flight Dispatcher

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a Flight Dispatcher to join its Operations Control Centre in Abu Dhabi. The dispatcher will be responsible for planning, monitoring and supporting flights to ensure safe and efficient operations across the airline’s global network.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and release operational flight plans, calculate fuel requirements, payload limits and performance parameters.
• File ATS flight plans in compliance with regulatory requirements and provide crews with necessary operational information.
• Monitor flights in real time, communicate weather, route or airport changes, and recommend alternates during disruptions.
• Analyse weather reports, NOTAMs, airport conditions and airspace restrictions to assess operational risks.
• Liaise with Maintenance Control, pilots and other stakeholders to support decision‑making during irregular operations.
