Flight Instructor

About the role

Fujairah Aviation Academy is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Flight Instructor to train student pilots for Private Pilot Licences (PPL), Commercial Pilot Licences (CPL) and Airline Transport Pilot Licences (ATPL). The role involves both practical flight sessions and classroom theory, ensuring students meet UAE GCAA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct flight training sessions for student pilots.
• Teach aviation theory and ensure comprehension of syllabus material.
• Maintain strict adherence to flight safety procedures and GCAA regulations.
• Assess and record student performance and progress.
• Collaborate closely with the academy’s training team.

Required profile

• Valid GCAA Flight Instructor Rating with endorsements (e.g., Night Rating, Navigation).
• CPL or ATPL holder with solid instructional background.
• Minimum 1,500 total flight hours, including at least 1,000 instructional hours and 200 instrument hours.
• Experience in intermediate‑level training tasks such as solo supervision and navigation.
• ELP Level 4 minimum (Level 5 preferred) and familiarity with GCAA regulations and syllabus.
• Strong debriefing and mentoring abilities.
