About the role

As a Food & Beverage Service Expert Lead – Captain at Four Points by Sheraton, you will create memorable dining experiences for guests while upholding safety, quality, and professional standards throughout the restaurant area. You will work closely with the kitchen, maintain a clean environment, and ensure that every interaction reflects the brand’s commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Set and arrange tables, maintain clean work areas, and stock service stations.
• Communicate guest orders and special requests with kitchen staff efficiently.
• Interact with guests, take orders, serve meals and beverages, and handle billing.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards at all times.
• Maintain uniform standards, personal appearance, and professional communication.
• Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance), and reaching overhead or below the knees.
• Read, verify, and manage menu information accurately.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform the physical duties described.
• Commitment to creating a safe workplace and upholding company policies.
