Food & Beverage Waiter/Waitress – Luxury Resort

About the role

Join the Food & Beverage team at Meliá Desert Palm, a luxury urban resort in Dubai. As a Waiter/Waitress you will deliver attentive, personalized service to guests across our dining venues, ensuring every meal creates a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues from all departments to ensure smooth, timely service.
• Greet guests warmly, present menus, take orders, and serve food and beverages with professionalism.
• Prepare and present bills, process payments according to established procedures.
• Perform closing duties: store reusable items, clean equipment, restock supplies, lock refrigerators, turn off lights, and complete daily cleaning checklists.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel services and facilities to answer guest inquiries.
• Follow safety policies and adhere to all hotel SOPs, grooming standards, and supervisor instructions.

• Professional appearance and excellent personal grooming.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong teamwork skills and willingness to support other departments.
