About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Food Runner to join the Laguna Beach Restaurant & Bar team at Sofitel Dubai The Palm. You will support the dining floor by delivering food and beverages promptly, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the outlet for service, including mise‑en‑place, table setting, and light cleaning.
- Take food and beverage orders, upsell where possible, and enter them accurately into the POS system.
- Deliver orders to guests, follow presentation guidelines, and respond to special requests.
- Clear tables, transport dirty dishes to the dish area, and maintain a clean work station.
- Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel or established restaurant environment.
- Energetic, fun‑loving attitude with a passion for hospitality.
- Fluent English speaker, already residing in the United Arab Emirates.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
