Football Coach

About the role

Al Rais Football Academy is seeking a passionate Football Coach to lead and develop young players. The role involves delivering structured training sessions, fostering technical skills, teamwork and a love for the game while ensuring a safe and motivating environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate football training sessions for various skill levels.
• Develop players’ technical, tactical, physical and game‑understanding abilities.
• Assess individual performance, provide feedback and create development plans.
• Prepare and manage teams for friendly and competitive matches.
• Maintain clear communication with players, parents and academy management.
• Support player selection, grouping and talent identification.
• Ensure sessions align with the academy’s coaching standards and philosophy.
• Assist with academy events, tournaments, camps and other football activities.

Required profile

• Recognised football coaching qualification/licence (UEFA, AFC or equivalent preferred).
• Previous experience coaching children and youth players.
• Strong knowledge of modern football coaching and player‑development methodologies.
• Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, energetic and reliable attitude.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
• UAE coaching experience and First Aid/safeguarding certification are an advantage.

Required skills

• UEFA or AFC coaching licence (or equivalent).
• First Aid and safeguarding certification (preferred).
