About the role
The Forklift Operator will support IKEA Jebel Ali’s retail logistics by moving goods safely and efficiently between the warehouse, buffer zones, and the sales floor. You will work closely with warehousing and sales teams to keep stock levels optimal while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Load and unload containers and pallets using a forklift.
- Transport goods between the sales floor and buffer areas.
- Maintain stock integrity and minimise product damage.
- Report equipment issues promptly to the Goods Flow Team Leader.
- Follow IKEA Logistics manuals and Al‑Futtaim safety procedures.
Required profile
- High school education.
- 1‑2 years of retail or goods‑flow experience.
- Valid forklift driving licence.
- Ability to lift heavy weights safely.
Required skills
- Forklift operation.
- Supply chain knowledge.
