Forward Deployed Engineer – Agentic Platform

About the role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join Cohere’s North platform team in Dubai. In this role you will work directly with enterprise customers to design, build and deploy AI‑driven agentic workflows that leverage large language models and integrate with existing tools and data sources.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with client engineering teams to translate high‑value business problems into concrete AI agent workflows.
• Design, prototype and ship production‑grade LLM‑powered agents that can reason, plan and act across APIs, tools and sensitive enterprise data.
• Ensure agents are reliable, observable, safe and auditable from day one, meeting enterprise‑grade standards.
• Iterate rapidly in a startup‑fast environment while maintaining an enterprise‑high bar for quality and security.
• Travel up to 40 % of the time to on‑site customer locations.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience building applied AI solutions.
• Ability to work independently and as a bridge between product and client technical teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and comfort with ambiguous, high‑impact business challenges.
