Forward Deployed Engineer Agentic Platform

About the role

Cohere is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its North platform team in Dubai. You will work at the intersection of cutting‑edge AI research and enterprise implementation, helping customers translate high‑value business problems into reliable, production‑grade AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise customers to define, prototype, and ship agentic workflows powered by large language models.
• Design, build, and deploy end‑to‑end AI agents that reason, plan, and act across tools, APIs, and sensitive data sources.
• Ensure agents are observable, safe, auditable, and meet enterprise‑grade reliability standards.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to customer engineering teams throughout the integration lifecycle.
• Travel 20‑40% to client sites for on‑site workshops and deployments.

Required profile

• Strong software engineering background with experience delivering applied AI solutions.
• Proven ability to work with ambiguous, high‑impact business problems and turn them into concrete technical specifications.
• Excellent communication skills for close collaboration with customers and internal product teams.
