Forward Deployed Engineer – Agentic Platform

About the role

Cohere is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer to join its North agentic platform team in Dubai. You will work at the intersection of cutting‑edge AI research and real‑world enterprise deployments, helping customers turn high‑value business problems into reliable, production‑grade AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with enterprise customers to translate ambiguous business needs into well‑defined agentic workflows.
• Design, build, and deliver LLM‑powered agents that reason, plan, and act across tools, APIs, and sensitive data sources.
• Ensure agents are observable, safe, auditable, and meet enterprise reliability standards from day one.
• Iterate from early prototypes to production‑grade deployments, providing technical guidance throughout.
• Travel 20‑40% to client sites for on‑site integration and support.

Required profile

• Software engineer with applied AI experience, comfortable working with large language models.
• Proven ability to own end‑to‑end design, implementation, and deployment of AI‑driven solutions.
• Strong communication skills for close collaboration with customer engineering teams.
• Willingness to operate in a fast‑paced, startup‑like environment while maintaining enterprise‑grade quality.
