Forward Deployed Engineer

About the role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Wonderful, you will work directly with enterprise customers to solve high‑impact, real‑world problems using AI. You will own the full lifecycle of AI‑driven solutions, from problem definition through design, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with customers to understand operational challenges and define success criteria.
• Translate open‑ended problems into clear technical designs and implement AI agents that integrate with customer systems.
• Own end‑to‑end deployments, ensuring reliability, performance, and ongoing iteration based on real‑world data.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ship high‑quality solutions.
• Contribute to reusable tools, documentation, and best‑practice guidelines for scaling customer delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering or technical problem‑solving roles.
• Strong fundamentals in software design and system thinking.
• Experience working across systems, integrations, and data flows.
• Comfort interacting directly with customers and handling ambiguous problems.
• Clear communication skills and a strong ownership mindset.
