Foundation Stage Inclusion Teacher

About the role

The Foundation Stage Inclusion Teacher will join Deira International School’s Primary School in August 2026, supporting Early Years pupils with additional learning needs. The role focuses on delivering targeted interventions, ensuring every child can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential in a vibrant, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalised interventions for Foundation Stage students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate closely with class teachers to adapt lessons and resources.
• Assess and monitor pupil progress against the EYFS framework.
• Maintain accurate records of interventions and outcomes.
• Provide guidance and support to teaching staff on inclusive practices.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to individual education plans.
• Promote a positive, inclusive classroom culture.
• Engage in ongoing professional development related to special educational needs.

Required profile

• Outstanding, experienced Inclusion Teacher with a passion for early years education.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and inclusion strategies.
• Proven ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment.
