French‑Speaking Sales Engineer – Industrial Solutions

About the role

Äager GmbH is seeking a French‑speaking Sales Engineer to join its Dubai team. The role bridges engineering expertise with industrial sales, focusing on advanced process, emission and pollution control systems for sectors such as energy, oil & gas, water, and clean‑tech.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and follow up on technical‑commercial sales opportunities and quotations.
• Review RFQs, specifications and technical requirements; coordinate proposals with engineering and estimation teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with EPC contractors, end‑users, consultants, distributors and procurement teams.
• Lead customer communications, meetings and commercial negotiations.
• Identify new market opportunities and keep activity records in Salesforce CRM.
• Travel within the region to acquire product knowledge and support customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of sales or technical‑sales experience, preferably with industrial equipment.
• Experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, chemical, energy or water‑treatment industries is a plus.
• Currently based in the UAE, Dubai preferred; UAE driving licence and willingness to travel are advantageous.
• Fluent English (required) and French (highly preferred); Arabic is a plus.
