About the role
The Front Desk Supervisor oversees guest check‑in and check‑out operations, manages cash handling and reporting, and ensures high service standards at Aloft Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs, verify identity, assign rooms and issue keys.
- Handle all cash and payment transactions, balance receipts, and prepare cashier and closing reports.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information, ensure rates match market codes and document exceptions.
- Compile daily reports, logs and contingency lists, and notify loss prevention of any theft reports.
- Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling and coaching front‑desk staff, and act as a role model for the open‑door policy.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related front‑desk experience.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
Required skills
- Proficient operation of computer‑based POS systems for reservations and cash handling.
- Ability to process various payment types, vouchers and paid‑outs accurately.
