Front End Developer (React/Next.js) for Luxury E‑commerce

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Front‑End Developer to join Chalhoub Group’s e‑commerce web team. You will build and maintain the customer‑facing storefront for a luxury retail platform that serves multiple GCC countries and languages.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design and back‑end teams to translate requirements and UI designs into functional features.
• Develop reusable UI components using React and Next.js, working with both the Pages Router and the App Router.
• Integrate components with GraphQL commerce APIs via Apollo Client.
• Profile, optimise and ensure high‑performance, responsive and accessible web experiences.
• Write unit and integration tests using Jest, React Testing Library and Cypress.
• Maintain code quality with ESLint, Prettier and CI/CD pipelines.

Required profile

• Strong JavaScript and React fundamentals.
• Hands‑on experience with Next.js and modern routing architectures.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility and web accessibility.
• Comfortable working with GraphQL APIs and design‑system components.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑language, multi‑regional environment.
