Front Office Supervisor – Dubai

About the role

Hyde is seeking a dynamic, customer‑focused Front Office Supervisor to lead its front‑of‑house team in Dubai. You will be the backbone of daily front office operations, ensuring seamless check‑ins, check‑outs and guest interactions while fostering a supportive environment for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and mentor the front office team, maintaining service standards and hotel policies.
• Deliver professional, friendly service to guests and stakeholders, setting the tone for exceptional hospitality.
• Handle guest concerns and complaints with empathy, resolving issues promptly and escalating when necessary.
• Assign daily tasks, manage workflow, and coordinate arrivals, departures and special requests.
• Oversee front office operations using the Property Management System, including check‑ins, check‑outs and room assignments.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with hotel procedures and safety protocols.
• Participate in departmental meetings and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Assume manager‑on‑duty responsibilities as needed and support team development.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑4 years of experience in guest services or front office operations.
• Proven supervisory or team‑lead experience.
• Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field.
• Experience in a luxury or upscale hotel environment.
• Multilingual abilities, particularly Arabic or other regional languages.
• Strong problem‑solving, conflict‑resolution and communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Property Management System (PMS).
