Front Office Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, customer‑focused Front Office Supervisor to oversee daily front desk operations at a luxury resort. The role supports the Front Office Manager in delivering high‑standard guest service, supervising staff, handling guest requests and ensuring smooth hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily front office and reception activities, ensuring efficient check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Welcome guests professionally, respond to inquiries, complaints and service recovery needs.
• Monitor room availability, assignments, upgrades and special requests, coordinating closely with housekeeping.
• Handle reservations, billing, payments and cash transactions accurately.
• Review daily front office reports and maintain accurate records.
• Train and guide front office staff, assist with scheduling and operational planning.
• Maintain communication between front office and other hotel departments and ensure compliance with brand standards.
• Manage VIP arrivals, special occasions and corporate guests, and support night audit procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
• Minimum 4–5 years’ experience as a Front Office Duty Manager in a 4/5‑star hotel or luxury resort, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages (Arabic, Russian, French, German) are a plus.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and night shifts.
