Full Professor in Integrated Strategic Communications

About the role

Zayed University’s College of Communication seeks dynamic scholars to join as Full, Associate, or Assistant Professors in Integrated Strategic Communications (ISC). The role involves teaching core and specialised courses, guiding research, and contributing to the College’s strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses covering fundamentals, writing, strategic planning, campaigns, advertising, public relations, and marketing communications.
• Develop and update curricula, including core courses such as media and society, public speaking, media storytelling, media law and ethics, research methods, and digital media.
• Advise and mentor students, supervise projects, and support student chapters of the Middle East Public Relations Association.
• Participate in College‑wide committees, outreach activities, and community engagement.
• Conduct scholarly research or creative activities and publish in Scopus‑indexed journals.

Required profile

• Terminal degree (PhD preferred) in communication, public relations, advertising or a related field from a QS‑ranked university.
• Proven record of teaching excellence that meets international standards.
• Strong scholarly or professional background with publications in Scopus‑listed journals.
• Ability to teach a range of core communication courses and contribute to interdisciplinary efforts.
• Knowledge of entrepreneurship, social/digital media, and creativity; bilingual fluency in Arabic and English is advantageous.
