Furas Graduate Programme – Legal & Business Services (Dubai)

About the role

Join DLA Piper’s Furas Programme in Dubai, a six‑month full‑time placement designed to launch a global legal career. Participants will rotate between legal practice groups or business‑services functions, gaining hands‑on experience on high‑value client matters, cross‑border projects and strategic initiatives that shape the UAE’s economy.

Key responsibilities

• Support lawyers or business‑services teams on client matters across a range of sectors, including drafting documents and conducting legal research.
• Assist with project management tasks, such as preparing briefs, tracking deliverables and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with diverse, high‑performing teams on innovation, sustainability and community initiatives aligned with national priorities.
• Participate in structured learning sessions to develop technical, professional and leadership capabilities.
• Engage regularly with a supervisor, buddy and mentors to receive feedback and guidance.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing activities and help maintain firm‑wide resources.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in English and Arabic (reading, writing and speaking).
• Recent graduate or final‑year university student eager to start a legal or business‑services career.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a willingness to learn from senior professionals.
• Interest in international law, business development or legal project management.
