General Cashier Cum Paymaster

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented General Cashier Cum Paymaster to join our Dubai team at Accor Hotels. In this dual position you will manage daily cash operations while also overseeing the full payroll cycle for all staff.

Key responsibilities

• Handle cash transactions, receive payments, issue receipts and keep accurate records.
• Process payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Prepare and distribute paychecks or manage direct deposits.
• Maintain detailed financial records and reconcile accounts daily.
• Calculate and process employee deductions, bonuses and overtime payments.
• Address employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve any discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labour laws and payroll regulations.
• Generate and analyse financial reports for management.
• Assist in preparing documents for internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve payroll processes and systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in cashier and payroll roles.
• Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
