Cashier – Financial Exchange

About the role

Al Jazira Exchange is inviting applications for the position of Cashier to join its team in Dubai. This role focuses on processing daily currency exchanges, handling customer transactions, maintaining balanced cash drawers, and delivering high‑quality customer service within a fast‑paced financial exchange branch environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash, remittance, and currency exchange transactions with speed and accuracy, ensuring all amounts are correctly recorded.
• Provide professional customer service and assist branch visitors with transaction inquiries, answering questions about rates and procedures.
• Balance cash drawers, handle till reconciliations, and compile end‑of‑day transaction reports to maintain financial integrity.
• Verify client information and maintain strict compliance with internal transaction protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain complete confidentiality regarding financial records and customer account details at all times.

Required profile

• 1 to 3 years of cash‑handling experience in a financial setting; fresh graduates are also welcome to apply.
• Basic proficiency in financial software applications, POS systems, and computerized record management for accurate transaction processing.
• Strong cash handling precision, numerical accuracy, and excellent customer service skills, with a focus on detail‑orientation.
• Preferred nationalities include candidates from Nepal, India, and Bangladesh, reflecting the branch’s diverse workforce.
