General Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

ASC is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its construction projects in the UAE. The role provides strategic leadership, drives long‑term profitability, and ensures operational excellence across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an overall strategic plan aligned with ASC’s mission and growth objectives.
• Guide functional managers to achieve short, medium, and long‑term business targets.
• Set realistic performance targets in coordination with the senior leadership team.
• Lead public‑relations activities and communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Represent ASC at the highest level with government bodies and key industry partners.
• Oversee financial management, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Review and maintain the delegation of authority matrix and ensure accountability.
• Monitor compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations through internal audit.
• Approve policy and procedure recommendations to facilitate smooth operations.
• Foster a fair work environment and manage the performance of direct reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in senior leadership within construction or infrastructure.
• Proven track record of strategic planning and execution.
• Strong stakeholder management and public‑relations experience.
• Deep understanding of financial management and corporate governance.
• Ability to lead large, cross‑functional teams and drive performance.
