General Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The General Manager will lead The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, steering both strategy and day‑to‑day operations to deliver world‑class guest experiences and strong financial performance. This senior position reports to regional leadership and works closely with ownership to uphold the iconic St. Regis brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute business strategies that grow revenue, market share and brand positioning.
• Oversee all operational departments—including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Engineering, Security and Guest Services—to ensure flawless service delivery.
• Champion a culture of personalized, anticipatory guest care and manage relationships with VIP guests and key travel partners.
• Deliver budgeted financial targets such as revenue, GOP and EBITDA while driving profitability through cost‑control initiatives.
• Maintain the highest standards of safety, compliance and risk management across the property.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years experience as General Manager in a luxury hotel environment.
• Progressive leadership experience with responsibility for major operational areas (Rooms Division, F&B or Resort Operations).
• Proven track record of managing luxury hotels with complex operations and significant revenue streams.
• Experience with internationally recognised luxury brands; Middle‑East or international luxury market exposure preferred.
